The scheme involved to  develop the Waiāri Water Supply, comprising a water abstraction facility on Waiāri Stream, a treatment plant in No.1 Road, Te Puke, and an underground pipeline to Papamoa.

Solution

CTEK carried out the review for Waiari WTP and Raw Water Intake, control system configuration for Waiari WTP and Raw Water Intake, PLC and SCADA configuration for Raw Water Pump station and Balance of Plant, as well as integration of PLC code and SCADA configuration for the Microfiltration Plant. The scope also involved providing support during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and the plant trial period, along with comprehensive training sessions.
Further to that our current work is specific to integration support and to work collaboratively with the TCC team to finalise a set of SCADA standards to control and monitor the new plant.
