CTEK & client team collaborated to develop a control system for the operation of the bitumen truck fleet. This involved customisation of the technology for the bitumen spraying control system and job management. The solution enabled the truck operator to control the bitumen spray system using a standardised HMI allowing recipe specific application rates and reports to be produced per job.

CTEK then helped to set up a reporting solution using SQL. New recipes and orders are transmitted securely via 4G to the fleet, this enables seamless data transfer between an organisation and the truck operator.

Remote connectivity also provided the ability to capture fault information and diagnostics such as run data, GPS history, bitumen usage etc. The master SQL database is maintained by CTEK and SRE have access to their customer fleet data and offer support services.

The Bitumen Job Tracking System (BJTS) offered by CTEK is providing bitumen operations real time data propagation between sprayer and office benefitting productivity and data management.
